My blog is fantastic, as it's all about *not me*. Most often, I feel this way, because I am doomed - doomed to be, to be, to be.

Pizza Friday

Hey, I am back. Today at work was pretty cool, and I have some stories to share. First of all, who gets pizza from Panago bought for them for lunch at work? That's right, me. Apparently it was pizza Friday today, and it was pretty great food. We ate outside at a picnic table amidst a sea of concrete, but it was still nice.

Anyway, today I was printing packing slips on the computer and I encountered an error. So I said to Brenda, I says, "Brenda, do you know a lot about computers?" And she said, "What's the problem?" So I proceeded to explain what went wrong, etc, etc.

So she checks it out, and the same thing happens, and she suggests I try her computer to see if the same error happens. It does. Then she's like "Why is all the lettering on your computer so small? Do you want it that way?" And I was like "Well, not really." So she went into the control panel and display, and started to change it. It was kinda funny, because she changed the settings and made it smaller and pressed o.k. and this message came up and it said: Do you want windows to change your settings? Your screen may flicker and it may take approximately fifteen seconds." So she stares at this message for about ten to twelve seconds and then closes the window using the "x" on the top right. And she said, "why isn't it working?" And I'm like "You're supposed to hit o.k." So she does it again, and hits o.k. and the computer goes all crazy for a moment and then it's like "Do you want to keep your settings? Windows will automatically revert in (it was counting down) 15 seconds." And she was staring at it again, and I was like, "You have to hit o.k. because it's counting down or else it will revert." And she's like, "yeah, that's what I want." And when it reverted back, she's like, "Oh, what happened?" And I explained to her. . .

That's right. Anyway, to make a long story short, the error wasn't fixed. Hurrah for pizza Friday! I also heard an ice cream truck today, and it seems funny that they always hang around the industrial districts.
